| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho tem como objetivo abordar a importância da representatividade lésbica no teatro como uma ferramenta essencial para desconstruir estereótipos e combater o apagamento histórico das mulheres lésbicas ao longo dos séculos. A pesquisa busca compreender conceitos relacionados à historicidade, identidade e representatividade lésbica nas artes, com ênfase nas artes cênicas. A metodologia empregada é de cunho teórico, com base em levantamento bibliográfico que inclui autores fundamentais e peças teatrais relevantes para a temática. Ao analisar as peças selecionadas para a pesquisa, juntamente com os conceitos explorados sobre o tema, percebemos que a cultura ocidental, marcada por uma visão binária e heteronormativa, marginalizou outras orientações sexuais, como o lesbianismo. O teatro lésbico desempenha um papel crucial ao apresentar representações autênticas das vivências lésbicas, humanizando essas mulheres e desafiando a visão estigmatizada da sexualidade feminina. Portanto, a representatividade lésbica no teatro emerge como um ato de resistência e empoderamento, permitindo que essas mulheres tenham voz e visibilidade perante a sociedade. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | The aim of this work is to address the importance of lesbian representation in theater as a crucial tool for dismantling stereotypes and combating the historical erasure of lesbian women throughout the centuries. The research seeks to comprehend concepts related to the historicity, identity, and lesbian representation in the arts, with a focus on performing arts. The methodology employed is theoretical, based on a bibliographic survey that includes key authors and relevant theatrical works related to the subject matter. Through the analysis of the selected plays for the research, along with the explored concepts on the topic, it is evident that Western culture, marked by a binary and heteronormative perspective, marginalized other sexual orientations, such as lesbianism. Lesbian theater plays a pivotal role in presenting authentic representations of lesbian experiences, humanizing these women, and challenging the stigmatized view of female sexuality. Therefore, lesbian representation in theater emerges as an act of resistance and empowerment, allowing these women to have a voice and visibility within society. | |
